| Title: Je n'ai pas connu d'autres garçons que toi (si j'en ai connu, je ne m'en souviens pas)Author: Merle Rating: NC-17 Characters/Pairing: Kevin/Danny Word Count: 1470 Spoilers: For 1.05 “Date Night” Disclaimer: Kevin, Danny and the Walkers belong to ABC; the title is a quote from the song “Mon amour, mon ami” by André Popp and Edmond Bacri. Warnings: (Explicit) sex of the male/male kind (duh!), cross-dressing. Summary: Kevin's 18th birthday turns out a bit different than expected. A/N: Some Kevin birthday fic, since it's Matthew Rhys' birthday today! This was inspired by something Kevin said in season 1 when he was talking to Scotty about his coming out. I took some liberties with canon without actually ignoring it. For the translation of the French sentences see below, at the end of the fic. This is for semisweetsoul, because she's such a lovely girl and a good friend. I got to warn you, though: This might be the porniest thing I've ever written. Link to my other B&S fanfic is here ( It’s seven pm on his birthday, and Kevin is ready to admit that birthdays suck. ) | |

| Title: Loving Eliot. Or: Love story in five (country) rock songsAuthor: Merle Rating: R Characters/Pairing: Alec/Eliot Word Count: 1890 Spoilers: Hardly anything worth mentioning Disclaimer: Leverage belongs to TNT and Devlin/Downey/Rogers. Warnings: Sex, mention of violence Summary: Love is not always easy. A/N: This fic was written for dea_liberty's leveragexchange. It's for maerhys who asked, among other things, for “Hardison/Eliot with a side of Parker as their friend/colleague. hot schmoopy porn, snarking, sparring, kissing, cuddling, domestic scenes, jealous!Eliot, Hardison and Eliot hanging out, learning skills from one another.” maerhys, it might not be exactly what you asked for, but I hope you like it anyway. Also, it's more than two months late, and I have an excuse, but I'm sure you don't want to hear it – so I just hope you can forgive me for the delay! ( Loving Eliot ) | |

| Well. I am back, at last. I know that I never used to talk a lot about my personal life in this journal, but in case anyone was wondering what happened to me during those last three months: I met the man of my dreams. I was planning my emigration to the United States because that's where he lives. And then he broke up with me. I'm still trying to pick up the pieces of myself that are shattered all over the floor. I'm trying to ease myself back into life. And into fandom. It might take a while to really get back into things around here, because I missed so much: I actually missed the whole third season of Torchwood, and the beginning of the second season of Merlin, and all your amazing posts and the talk about new fandoms. I'm going to start by finally finishing and posting my fic for the leveragexchange that someone has been waiting for for over two months. And I'm looking forward to Brothers & Sisters. semisweetsoul, thank you for your birthday wishes. romanticalgirl, thank you for your e-mails. I should warn you: I might still come to Seattle later this year. I miss you guys. | |

| So, thanks to the lovely, generous teh_gandu, I now have a Dreamwidth account. I've got the same username on DW and LJ, which means that I'm merle_p on DW as well. I'm not sure yet what exactly I'm going to do with the account - I'm still a bit wary of the idea of managing two journals, seeing as how I often barely find the time to read my LJ friendslist - still, I want to be prepared, just in case there's suddenly going to be an emigration of nations, and I plan to crosspost my entries from now on. In this regard, I've got an offer, a request and a question for you: 1. Invitation codes: Now that I've got a DW account, I also have two invitation codes to give away. If you need/want one, just leave me a comment. (I'm going to be in Ireland for a few days, though, and don't know how often I'll get around to log in, so don't worry if I don't answer you immediately) 2. Friends: I really would like you guys to be my friends on Dreamwidth as well! Like I said, I'm merle_p on DW - just friend (subscribe? grant access?) me over there if you want to; or just comment on this post with your DW username so that I can find you there and ask you to friend me again! 3. Crossposting: I never bothered with crossposting before, and usually just linked posts to my journal. But if I'm going to post on both LJ and DW, I'm going to need a crossposting tool. So, any advice? I understand that DW has got a crossposting tool that allows me to crosspost my DW posts to LJ. But what if I want LJ to be my "base camp" and want to crosspost my LJ posts to DW? Is there a software you can recommend? - Mood:confused

Disclaimer: Merlin belongs to BBC. The title is a (translated) quote from the medieval romance Tristan by Gottfried von Strassburg.
